Title: Adding the PNT to NW Trails
Post by: mtnfrog on February 24, 2014, 07:31:42 pm
Could you add the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail (PNT) to Northwest Trails?
The PNT website allows you to download a Google Earth KMZ file of the entire trail as well as more detailed PDF maps for places such as Blanchard Mountain or Anderson Mountain.

The maps can be accessed at http://www.pnt.org/trail.html

Cool! I'll work on getting this data into the upcoming release.

Thanks Moun10Bike!
Do you know the general date of the upcoming release? There's some trail data I'm currently compiling and I'd like to submit it on time  :)

I'm rather informal when it comes to releases. :) I usually do so whenever I collect enough changes to make a new release worthwhile. I've felt like things are about at that spot in the last week or so, but I can hold off for a couple of weeks (it will take some time to integrate the lengthy PNT to the data, anyway).

That's great - it gave me the 'shove' I needed to get my backlog of track files submitted (from Nov. 2012!).
