Having run into a number of people who are interested in the trail maps (cachers and non), I finally made up a business card to hand them. It's something like this:

This is another great idea! Would it be helpful if I provided a template for this, perhaps with additional explanation text on the back, on the website?

Yesterday at the Museum of Flight I met a another bike rider who has a 60cs and didn't know about NW Trails. So I handed out another card to someone who's very interested in them.

I've started to print GC.com info on the back, and am thinking about adding WSGA (WA State Geocachers Association) info there too.

If a template was available I certainly would print some up and put it in my bag of cache pollution (my monopoly money sig item).

I was on the trail to West Tiger Mountain yesterday, and passed two guys with GPSr's. I chatted with both and gave them a card, they sounded really interested in the maps. And a week ago I chatted with bike rider who has a very old version of the maps and told (suggested) him to get the newest version.

Thanks, Craig! I've actually been surprised at the number of people I've encountered who are running significantly older versions of the maps. I guess that not everyone worries about keeping the latest data on their receivers.

That probably has a lot to do with the fact that they aren't used to the speed at which you update them.

Or the fact the GS forum sends me an email every time someone comments on the thread. I just dled and installed the newest version and since it is raining buckets out there, I'll update my Garmins.
