Trails in Northwest Trails have now been moved out a zoom level so that they show up when zoomed out further on the map.  Please vote in the poll and let me know what you think of this change.

Is there a setting somewhere between the old and the new?

While I do like the improved zoom factor on the pc, when panning the map on my Colorado while zoomed out quite far, the redraw is painfully slow if the map is active.  I like to keep the gps detail set to more or most to keep minor roads visible.  If this is no different than the way it has always been, then disregard this statement....hahahah

I would agree with savant9.

This zoom level is better than the previous setting but I would prefer it to have the trails show up at a zoom level of about 2 or 3 miles when set to "medium" on Mapsource to help speed up the screen redraw on the GPSr.

Thanks for letting us give input on this.

I guess I must agree with GrnxNham on the 2 to 3 mile zoom level. No need to go out as far as it currently is (7mi?).  I voted for the top one but now I would go with the second option on the poll.

There is unfortunately no in-between on the zoom levels.  I moved the trails out 1 zoom level in both Mapsource and on the GPS.  I could leave the change in Mapsource and return to the old for the GPS, but newwood was asking for visibility on his eTrex at lower zoom levels, which is why I made the change there.  Keep the feedback coming, though - I will go with what works best for the majority.
