These projects involve custom mapsets for Garmin GPS mapping units. These mapsets are designed to be integrated into Garmin's MapSource application, or can be uploaded directly to a GPS receiver. Please note that the use of custom mapsets is not supported by Garmin.
Northwest Trails: Custom mapset for trails of the Pacific Northwest. This is a community effort with trails being submitted by interested individuals and integrated into the mapset.
Priest Lake Snowmobile Trails: Custom mapset for most of the documented snowmobile trails in the Priest Lake, Idaho area.
Priest Lake Topo: Custom mapset containing elevation contours, hydrology, roads, points of interest and more in the Priest Lake, Idaho area.
Building Footprints: Custom mapset containing shaded building footprints for a handful of Northwest cities that offer this data for public use on their web sites. Current cities include Seattle, Spokane, Bellevue, Kitsap County, Bellingham, and Anchorage.
These maps are designed to act as electronic or printed reference for specific trails or trail networks. The data used to create these comes from the data used to produce the Northwest Trails mapset above.
